I guess the school doesn't think the kids will tell everything to their parents correctly or that they are able to effectively convey their parents' msg to the teachers. So more paperwork for parents to set the teachers' mind at ease that there's no misunderstanding

oh! Hope it didn't sound like I'm complaining - quite fine with it. Probably overwhelmed by the paperwork and having to check for 'mail' everyday. I guess I rather see more, than try and 2nd guess what's going on in school.

I got the letter to sign for this Saturday's briefing. Also, their name tags are in - but I'm not sure when we MUST have it sewn onto their uniforms.

Also, DS told me I HAVE to submit the cca form. So I just put in the details, blank out the choice of cca and put in story why I don't want him in cca this year. Not sure if they will call me to discuss.

Somehow I get the feeling that I'm attending school like him.

I have yet to receive the letter for this Sataurday's briefing and their name tag as well.. But my BLUR girl told me this Sat parents have to go to school. Their teacher will show us their art work which will display in their classroom. Which means we got to see how their classroom look like n where is located. (not sure is it true cos she always give me the wrong informations) I thought is like Orientation Day which all the parents will sit in the School Hall.

May I know the letter is from School or from their form teacher?

We are supposed to put a empty folder for school stuff into their bags. All the letters (from school) are placed in there. Not sure what will go on then, I only know it's a P1 parent discussion and briefing and we are not supposed to bring our kids there.

If you drive, can park at the basketball court; too full, they will redirect you to hdb carpark.

Starts at 8.30am hor.

We are supposed to meet the form teacher in our child's class so yes we will get to see the classroom. This is the first session. Next session we are supposed to go to the hall.

My son never use the plastic folder he just stuffed the papers in his bag!

oh goody! Yah, Ds1 told me his art teacher showed them a new technique (I dunno what) and they are supposed to all participate in some art competition - maybe to galvanise them to draw better.

I would want to go see the FT - wondering how come she was on mc for so long...curious.

Hmm... DD never mention anything about this art competition. She hor won't tell me what is going in school. So everyday i hv to ask her: what you had for recess... what u do in sch... etc
