DD will start her R Gym lesson this Friday at 9.30 in the school hall. Will parents still be able to gather in the hall?

For the first lesson, there'll definitely be other parents around to drop DD off at the hall and make enquiries. After that, you'll be asked to leave so that the kids won't be distracted.

Do ensure your DD is wearing shoes with velcro straps if she can't tie shoe laces. The gym gals have to take their shoes off. If possible, label your DD's shoes and ask your DD to put her shoes right next to her sch bag. Otherwise, she'll have a hard time finding her shoes after CCA. πŸ˜„

Erm, if the gals are gonna have their gym lesson in the hall, will the parents briefing this Friday still be in the hall? I definitely won't mind though I doubt so.. Can see what they do...

But today, she spent $1.00 on trying to make a call to me!!!! Tsk tsk. The telephone is spoilt! Then didnt even return the coin..

oh dear! Maybe give your DD a few 10 cent coins so she can make phone calls to you if she wants. If it's urgent, the gals can go to the General Office to use the phone there. Must be urgent...otherwise they won't let them use the phone.

ust now my gal told me her chinese class will be split and all gals going to other classes. Tsk tsk. I asked her for a day? or forever? She said teacher said forever? What happened to the teacher...?? :? πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰
Not to worry...teacher still around. She'll probably be taking one of those classes. πŸ˜‰

Oh yeah, forgot we have the parents' briefing on that day too. Then the gym gals will have to go somewhere else. Only the hall can accomodate all the P1/P2 parents so parents' briefing will be in the hall. If the FT's briefing in your DD's class finish early, you can go :peekaboo: at your DD.

Stated on letter, starts at 10.30am-12pm.. So I wonder how they r gonna eat lunch... Thinking of stuffing her for brekkie... πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

They'll have time to eat. Sch starts slightly later (about 12.30) on Wednesday due to teachers' contact time. πŸ˜„

                  Hi Tinkerbelle,

Looks like other than Speech & Drama, Art & Dance club R all so popular. Mind if I ask what is not popular & Y? :? :?
Actually, all CCAs have their own merits and have many members joining. For the lower pri, CCA is 'limited' in comparison to the upper pri therefore, choices are also limited. Many tend to choose dance, Gym, S&D and art. Tennis and netball is probably not as 'hot' a CCA for the lower pri because they are outdoor activities and parents do not want their DDs to be hot, sweaty & sticky for lessons in the afternoon.

Once your DD gets to P3, there'll be more CCAs available, including choir, Infocomm Club, Chinese Dance, Modern Dance. πŸ˜„

My DD is also in GSSC.
Yes, we are also briefed as above.
However, last week She copied down in her communication book to buy a 'Science Journal' book. It is around A5, from Sch bookshop and less than $2. There is a 'Parents' signature' chop beside what she wrote, so we went to get it. Bookshop Aunty told us she is not sure but brought out one A5 size exercise book which costs $0.90.

A5???? My DD wrote down A4 leh. Anyway, we brought the A4 one. Hee....

Yes! You are right. It's A4. I double checked her communication book.
