I've just called up a school that I'm PV-ing. The lady in-charged told me that even though I've clocked in the 40 hours, I must still continue to PV; else they (the school) will terminate me. Is that the common practice?
As long as you have clocked in 40 hours as required, there is no such thing as termination. If the school still needs your help, the person-in charge can ask whether you can still help out, but not terminating you.

har? As long as you have clocked that 40 hours, you qualify. What do they mean by terminate? Cannot understand. I suggest you verify.

In fact, the school I pv-ed in asked those who finished clocking 40 hours not to volunteer for events so others may have a chance at qualifying.
Same to me to the sch i PV.
Wonder which sch is that? East or west side?

I am a parent volunteer but the school didn't call me for any duties, I've checked with them and was told no duties available, I'm really worried that I'm not able to clock 40 hours by July'11. Any parents encountered this before? Any suggestion what should I do?

:!: U still left 5 mths only. How many hrs hv u clock already?
          Is it enough time?

West - Bukit Batok, not a very high profile school though.....
Shall I write in to verify with the principal?

I have clocked 0 hour because the school has not called me at all, they said will call me if there is job. I'm really worried because it's only 5 mths left.

any chance of seeking a meeting with either the principal, vice-principal or operation manager to raise your concerns?

perhaps propose something that you could do, in line with what the school needs or coming events.

                        Not true.

Being a catholic automatically qualifies you for 2B registration, no need to apply to be PV.
