keborah:
Wow, impressive. Must be very proud having such 3 smart kids! How many students went to GEP last year as I did not get any numbers from the school. I knew in 2009 there were 9 kids.

      markfch:
It is a very decent school, nice neighbourhood. My 3 boys started there in P1 n 2 transferred out cos of GEP. 2 of their cousins too. N a few of my friends' kids too. N none of our kids was coached for GEP or had any tuition except for some Chinese tuition. You don't get the kind of resources like in the more popular schools but it's really not bad at all. My son who didn't get into GEP managed a DSA into a premier boy's school through academics n my kids didn't have any tuition except for Chinese at some point so I think your kids are in pretty good hands.

So your boys are one of those GEP kids that my friend was telling me about. Looks like all your 3 kids are very academically inclined. :celebrate:
Tks keborah. I don't have figures for last year, but I believe there are 9-12 each year that my sons were there, which is a very decent number for a neighbourhood school.

        Hi Rabbit Bear & Publica,

DS brought back a revised time table yesterday…yes FITT is a form of exercise and MA is MATH.

Previous time table showed "MA" and "Math" …so guess it was typo error.

        Thanks ya

Anyone knows whether school book shop sells PE T-shirt and shorts? How much?

This week DS needs to wear PE attire for 3 days in a row - luckily the weather is good and the 1 set that we have dry quickly, so I’d better get a 2nd PE set.

                    Hi Socks,

DS is also in 1 Adaptability. He has no idea when the Spelling is. However, when I asked him,he browse the revised time table, and says it will be on Friday? (I didn't have time to have a closer look at it yet.

                      Hi Maple Leaf and Socks

My DS not in same class as yours, but if you look at the time table there will be a particular period that says English (Spelling) - that will be the spelling day for the class. Hope it helps.

                        Hi Maple Leaf & huaywenandkenneth!

Thanks so much for info. The spelling period is reflected in the revised time-table. Phew!

Maple Leaf, so so glad your DS also in Adaptability too. My DS brought back some stapled pages from Maths Activity book (think its teh number bond chapter) and said do as weekend homework. Any idea if that is the case?

Cheers mommies and have a great week ahead! 😄
