I thought it was sweet too. Until yesterday? LOL. Imagine 0.90 on public fone that didn't even call thru to me?

Ya....really so sweet of your DD to call you. Enjoy it while it lasts..keke. DD1 has a handphone but doesn't call me during recess anymore. Now only call me when she finishes sch and can't find my car.. .haha

90 cents on public phone that can't call thru...is the phone faulty? πŸ˜„

aiyo, why gave her a ziploc bag, like aunty, 😐 poor gal, haha..

        chergaby:
My DD has lost twice! Now I don't give her anymore purse. Just put $$ in her pocket.

I put the coins in those small card-size ziploc bag tdy. No spare purse @ home and no time to buy. She gv me the \"huh, plactic bag\" look.
No choice lah... who ask her to be so clumsy to drop it! She could have kept it in her pocket immediately after use, but she didn't. Let her \"aunty\" a few days. πŸ˜›

She's doing the Art Club selection today. What wil happen then if she doesntget selected, no CCA at all?

          Hi AbeT,

What about the other 2 choices for CCA? Have you heard from them?

She selected modern dance and artistic gymnastic but no news there.

oh same design and color too? do u find it quite heavy after putting all the books and things? sigh..actually i was a bit regret to buy this school bag, i found it too big for her but she loves it and has a back support so we bought it for her.

haha..x'mas tree, that's cute, yes, it's a sling water bottle, a new hello kitty one, very nice, so i told her i'm not going to buy her anything nice now. me too, i need to keep asking her to dig out some info too, she never told me more if i don't ask and she's unable to tell me how much she spends on the food, i wonder how she paid for it? just give the wallet to aunty then she put back the change? the idea of giving her pocket money to buy food is we want her to do simple calculation but definitely she's not able to do what we want her to.

              preciousmoments,
haha...that's right, u saw my DD? my DD is very blur and never told me much about what's going on in school, sigh..she didn't check her water bottle in lost and found y'day and guess what? she didn't buy anything to eat in recess and bought a highlighter instead, i was so angry :x last nite, why she needs a highlighter for? yr DD is so good, even was sick and away for a week but still managed to tell you things, ya?

I saw your DD on day 1 of school, noticed her cos she has the same design bag as my gal. My gal told me 1 of the 4 girls chosen for R Gym has the same bag as her. So I'm just guessing! Her name starts with E?

Actually my gal doesn't tell me much, but I probe n squeeze info from her, till she gets v impatient with me! Ha..

Does your DD use a sling water bottle? I ask my gal to sling her water bottle during recess so she won't forget to bring back. Even her wallet, she slings it on her. So she's like a Christmas tree!
I think it's their new found freedom of being able to spend $ on their own..

That's one of the problem I face, always din know when to complete the homework by. Is it always need to be handed back to teacher on the next day?

Homework is usually due the next day, unless otherwise stated. There are days when teachers will give a few days for homework to be completed.

For example, if teacher give maths homework on say, Monday and expect the gals to finish on say, Wednesday. She'll tell the gals or write on the whiteboard maths WB (wed). That way, parents know it's not due on Tuesday.
