Did you say it costs $5 each ? I paid $7 for each book (idioms set of 3) then. Just found the books in one corner of son's storybooks. Will have to start son to read and remember the idioms...hopefully some can stick in his head and be of use to spice up compos. Recently, his teacher has been getting the class to do situational writing though.

Is the idioms come in 3 books (Blue colour) and phrasal verbs (Green colour) in 2 books ? If yes then I think we were buying the same stuff. -

May be this is another way to help them improve the compo..

Plot is good with nice intro/body/conclusion. This will give the kids some idea that they are capable of producing good compos too...some form of motivation...son went 'wow' but forgot about it after that. Was hoping he will start reading more.

it is a good one s$25 at popular but I found another one from casco PRoblem sum GUIDE 2 S$6.50 worth for the money they have 175 different type of problem solved using bar modelling. good refference book. I Think its better than the Top Marks book.

both are from the same publisher... bt the auther is different... -

The Idioms books I bought earlier have cartoon pictures on the right and text on the left…written by Rosalind Fergusson.
Decided to get the Phrasal Verbs just now (2 books).
Saw this title just now at Popular IMM…The Essential Parents’ Guide to Primary Maths by Dr Fong Ho Keong…but not ‘Top marks’ by Dr Fong Ho Keong.
