does anyone hear the news last nite or read the paper this morning regarding to North-South Expressway is being confirmed to build and GSSC may be affected but not MCS, is it? any further news?

When I asked my DD how is it, she said \"Good\" and she was eager to show me the steps. She also said the teacher commented that she is good. However, when the teacher asked her if she is interested in Dance, she answered \"NO\". Alamak! feel like banging my head to the wall!!! :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: Haiz. Her mind is all on Art. I will check with the teacher (Sharon Goh) if I am not wrong, whether she will be removed due to her response.

Yes, I saw it too.. But it's like so weird... Tsk tsk. I'm already planning to shift over to Bishan area.. Now I wonder if MCS will be shifting or not.. Don't later I shift over then tell me they r shifting to elsewhere.. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Emphathise with your situation. Not sure if you took a shot of the scratch marks.

I would have probably overreacted if I ever encountered such a situation but this is how my dh would have reacted. Here goes

1. calm dd down and get her to describe the whole incident.

2. clearly getting dd to decribe dd's part in the incident. (in case she had a part to play or if it was done accidentally during play that turned wrong)

3. advice dd on how she should react if it happens again (report to the teacher , prefect etc)

4. emphasize to dd that such behaviour is unaccceptable (just in case dd has thoughts about vengence )

5. Call the FT to report the matter and leave the school to take action and get back to him on the follow-up action they have taken.

Yikes!!! I hope we don't have to move....
My nephews are in SJIJ and next year(if i'm not mistaken) they too have to move to the East while their school is being upgraded!!!! Logistical nightmare!!!And they live in Woodlands!
Maybe ours will go through some upgrading too?we are going single session soon right? :?

From TODAY, it states that the developements like marymount Terrace and Orange Valley Nursing Home and GS chapel will be affected by kindergarden and MCS will stay as it is. But hvg said that with the construction work going on within such close proximity, the school will sure be dusty and noisy...!!!
