        2) how did they assess the readiness for this next level promotion? Thru test or? She has not finish much fr her prp book so my concern is she does not even know middle sound ( exercises tat has not gone thru yet)

        3) the level after prp- wat are the things taught?

          Hi,

This is through diagnostic assessment. Usually, the teacher will assess whether she is ready for next stage. If yes, she will let go through the assessment.

If she meet the requirement, she will be promoted.

The next stage will be ICR programme and it is one year programme to pick up the reading skills such as learning long and short vowel as well as blending.

            thanks monster mummy.

Oh there is no physical test to ascertain their level of readiness. πŸ™‚

wa 1 yr duration so long πŸ™‚ wonder if it is necessary to go thru the full year program. what is your feel about their program?

              Hi Yuppybb,

From my point of view for my girl, it is quite useful. This programme required one year because it is teaching them from the basic of long, short vowel and blending. There are five books and it also going through with the comprehension but not much of emphasis. Every session, they will need to have spelling.
