Agree with Luanee. The school buses go round and round; often feel bad for those picked up earlier. Consider it bonding time with your dd. Hope the commute is not too tough for the both of you though.

Hey, you are now a brown belt. Wow, you've moved up. Congrats.

This is 2nd time, school bus ran away as we are late for 2 minutes (6:02) have to bring my DD back home to pick my bag, and sent her to school, we started again from home at 6:25, and arrived to school at 7:07, it's just on time...wondering it's maybe better to send my DD to school by myself, she can sleep 30 min. more in the morning...I checked my DD, the school bus arrived to school about 6:40 every monring, after that, girls either in a daze or talked to each other, as it's too dark, school does not allow students to read to protect their eyesight...

If u are able to bring ur dd to schools in the morning and she can sleep later, and the traffic isnt so bad, then maybe u can consider bringing her to school by urself.

For my case it is impossible as I have to leave for work at 7am myself.

My dd has no cheongsam or samfoo (is that how it is spelt?) and she intends to wear her nonya outfit. Is that considered ethnic? Is that strange? Help...help...

Can. And it's so nice to see all the girls dressed up in ethnic clothes on the one day. So colorful!

                      Phew! Thanks Luanee and jtoh.

The shoes have to be school shoes though. I understand the safety concerns but from a fashionable perspective.....
