I know but both are by SHHK, why not? These schools are unlike those by MOE.

Hi, just to inform that Pri Sch term starts on 4 Jan 2011 (Tue) instead of 3 Jan (Mon) which is a off-day for sch to make up for 1 Jan which falls on Sat. I have talked to parents and even student care centre and was surprised many did not know or aware of school opening date, especially those with 1st kid going to P1. I am sure many parents will turn up at schools on 3 Jan since it's not a public holiday. Pls refer to MOE Website.

Based on past years' statistics, you are right.

being a 1st time mother, i am really caught off guard by this "system" of the primary 1 enrollment… its like U have to really plan and stratgise! hahahha… It means that if I want Nan Chiau, I must 1st go and be a member of SHHK and shift to within 1km from the school to stand a higher chance (bo bao confirm tio) also rite… …

i am looking at 2010 record, base on the record, for nan chiau, the phrase 2B there are balloting, and 2C as well. Let say if I am in phrase 2B and i din manage to let a slot from the ballot, can I still join the phrase 2C, let say I stay within 1km from the school.

For 2010, the P2B balloting is for 1-2km, >2km totally no hope. All in for those stay <1km. If you say you stay within 1km, you should have got a place in P2B, no need to go to P2C. I'm a GRL, stays <1km, no ballot for NCPS P2B in 2010.
