Frankly, I dun find your DD small. My DD is not much taller/bigger. She was teased on orientation day for being short n she told me she's shortest in class.

Thanks! Yes, she came back with a slip of paper informing that her gym classes will be changed to mon and wed mornings. She'll be left alone to eat her own lunch twice a week now. A bit 不放心.

IM still trying but can b quite paisay cos she chin chye do then her FT told me her handwriting needs improvement. Argh...!!!! Dun noe wat to tell the FT...... Looks like mummy so lazy, din even bother to ask DD to write neatly. sigh. 😞
Same here! As much as I want DD to learn to b more responsible for her own learning, I'm afraid the FT will think mummy is so bo chap, cannot be bothered to monitor DD's work. Sigh..

          Hi worriedparent74,

Fantastic that your DD enjoys her art lessons... can destress over the weekends. P1/P2 is the best time for all the fun activities before the hectic schedule starts in P3 with science and supplementary lessons etc.

By the way, DD got into the P1-P2 school team. My poor mum will have to bring her to school twice a week now. My mum has become so busy with her these days.

:congrats: to your DD on making into the sch team for gym...Must be showing great potential. In upper pri, a few of those in the sch team will be chosen to be in the national team. :ugogirl:

Sometimes, we hv to \"let go\" & let them learn their ropes.., if they want to chin chye then they hv to be answerable for it lor. My DD normally dun heed my advice, it's more effective if it comes from her tr.

We have to learn to take on the \"Supporting\" role more than the active role.
              Hi chergaby,

:goodpost: Although easier said than done, but the gals will be more responsible and independent in the long run..

Not to worry about her being on her own during lunch...your DD will soon make friends with the other Gym gals and eat together with them. Furthermore, on wednesday, there are many other CCA going on so your DD will see someone she knows.

Jesyeo, hope your mum will get well soon!!

Cantbearit, I saw ur DD on Friday, waiting to go for R Gym. She's cute! Surprising, tho she takes e same school bus as my DD, they dun seem to know each other at all! By the way, DD got into the P1-P2 school team. My poor mum will have to bring her to school twice a week now. My mum has become so busy with her these days.

And thanks for the detailed write up on the parents briefing! DH was not paying attention and I din manage to catch some stuff as I couldn't really hear the FT.

Funkymonkey, I think I saw you, or rather your back. Your DD was wearing yellow PE shirt?
Yes!!!! I was the one RIGHT UNDER the Principal's nose!!!! πŸ˜„

Did any Respect class parents see a lady wearing yellow blouse, white specs with a skinny small gal wearing pink hanging around the corridor of respect class? That's me! Went to the school as my DDs cannot stay in the ICU.

I went into the class after the brief to look for funkymonkey but my DD said din see u.
                    Hi jesyeo!!!
Too bad I missed you!By seconds!!!
I ran off right after the briefing as I didn't want to leave my gal on her own at the foyer.

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: Your DD is very cute!!! She's the active type...can't sit still for long type, is it?? :imconstipated: Next time, cannot work in office liao...

Slow and easy wins the race...give her some time to adapt to the longer hours of sitting around in class. ..keke. I'm sure Wednesdays must be her favourite day of the week. πŸ˜‰
Working in office? I don't dare to think so far......

Yes tinkerbelle, I hope that she will get used to how school in Spore is soon.
I console myself that at least she is able to tell me what went on in class, what was required, wrote down what is the homework of the day....
