If they're smart they'll get on line and join in our discussions.First was the Z machines that flew off the shelves, then the glass chopping board and now the Kai knives! The power of KSP! :celebrate:
Yes, the retailers must be wondering why the sudden interest in their products!

twinklejoy, your severin is big! Bakes a 2lb cake. Twice the size of a Z.
How many slices can you get out of it? -
schweppes:
Don't worry, if you are using Z regularly, it won't rust or if you want to be sure, after washing the blade, apply slight cooking oil to the part. BUT remember to wash it again before you use. Same thing if you want to keep it (I guessed you won't keep it for a whileI am very SAD!!
After I overturned my cheese bread to get it out of the bread tin, I did not realise that the knead blade was stuck in the bread. And as I was \"happily\" sawing....oops slicing the bread, I realised I struck something hard. Too late!! :!: A bit of the non-stick coating of the knead blade came off slightly at the part where I nicked it with the knife. Luckily the base of the blade is not affected. But still...

Hopefully, no adverse effect to the baking.
or cause the knead blade to rust
So angry with myself now :x :stupid:
)Cheers........

Ya... quite happy with its performance. Thanks for the lobang
The knife is good isn't it?
It's just careless of me that I accidently scratched the kneading blade with it. :stupid: -

Thanks jtoh
Your bread looks great! Congrats! So it's the water that's the culprit.schweppes:
Yay!! Cheese bread experiment turns out better than expected :rahrah:
I made slight changes to the original recipe:
- changed 1/2 cup water to 2/3 cup water
- changed 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese to 1/2 cup (but still not as cheesy as I wd like it but at least better than the original recipe. May consider going to 1 cup shredded cheese for subsequent tries)
Under original recipe, it was more rock bun - very heavy and dense. But with modifications, the bread is softer and fluffier. :dancing:
Would you add anymore water in your next try?
Will stick to 2/3 cup water. I don't think shd add any more water. The bread rose rather high during baking. -

You are most welcome

Don't know if they sell the knead blade separately but at the moment it's not spoilt, just slightly scratched/nicked. Will do as peterch's suggestion and rub a bit of oil on it.
You wanna call the promoter and ask if they can thrown in any spare knead blade?? Just to keep as a back-up .... in case ....
