You're staying in Bishan ? CHS is great for boys...affiliated sec and close to home.
We know...but we don't see ourselves giving up a confirmed phase 1 place, to ballot for 9 places in phase 2C!
You can write in to CHS to put your son on wait list too. In the meantime, enjoy NYPS which is a school many parents are trying to register their kids in. :celebrate: -

Husband is an ex school boy of Ai Tong hence entry to the school is very high likelihood as its under phrase 2A. However coming from a family whereby all my brothers & cousins graduated from CHS except me as I am a girl, I would really hope my 3 boys to have the opportunity to go through what they have experienced also plus secondary school affiliation & reglious teaching.
I am residing within 1km of CHS and my elder boy was born in 2006. Any advice/suggestions on what I should do? Your advice and thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! -

If you cannot get into CHS in Phase 1 and 2A, then all bets are off. Even if you get in as a PV for Phase 2B, the competition is VERY intense. That's why in the dilemma and pretty upset about the whole thing as I come from a family with all CHS graduates. Even my 2 own brothers are from there except me as I am the only girl in the family. But best part is all my 3 children are all boys! Stay so near to the school but can't enter and to watch all my nephews who are staying so far away to enter. Dunno is fate play a trick on me or what....Sighz...
So even with PV, join grassroots and request church to write recommendation letter stating active church member concurrently also no hope? So shouldn't take the chance at all?
Really can't do anything about it?
