btw, how many hours do your children sleep at night ? currently my DS sleeps at 11pm and wakes up at 7plus am.

Wonder if he is lacking in sleep as he always fell asleep in the school bus in the evenings. Just hope he doesn't fall asleep in class
My girl sleeps around 11pm too and I get her up aroound 8.45am... Think the hours may not be sufficient but she tells me that she is not tired leh... Am trying to get to sleep by 10.30pm... at least solid 10 hours of sleep.

              Hello,

My boy sleeps at 10 pm and wakes up at 8 am. Find that I cannot wake him up any later as need to feed light breakfast and give time to digest b4 early lunch, so that he can catch the bus at 11.45 am.

                Hi all,

my daughter is in class 1B. and yes, the homework is streaming in. There is this haopengyou chinese magazine, are we expected to complete those? There are now 2 issues in my girls’s bag but there its not placed in homework folder. I just go through leisurely with her e.g. simple reading and exercises etc if time permits. What are you doing with it?

You may wish to ask her to do the exercises for Pri 1. The teacher will start to assign the kids to do certain pages (usually those for the level) after a while. The kids may be asked to mark the answers themselves or exchange with each other to mark.

According to my understanding, the haopengyou needs to be filed by us. There are P1 sections as well as P2 sections so our kids only need to complete P1 sections...

I intend to do some reading from the haopengyou... or else like very wasted leh..
