We recd a call last night abt this hip hop incident. According to my boy, the children thought the instructor was just joking abt punishing them by doing push ups. Did not realise the instructor's idea of a proper push up is so high std.

We also received the call. my son though the same way as you boy. and also showed me how they did it.

Will like to share a liitle bit of what I learn from my DD, is that whether GEP prog or Mainstream prog, ultimately the teacher play a very impt role. I thought that in GEP prog, the P or MOE officer always emphasize that GEP teachers are specially trained and can really teach and nurture the students. Well, it seem not so, SS's teacher so boring and Sci's teacher so fierce so now it affect her liking for the subjects. Last year in PHPPS, same thing happen, there is a new teacher and her teaching is so 'fierce' that it affect her academic result. So it would be a blessing if our kids can have good, caring and effective teachers (doesn't matter GEP or non-Gep).

oh dear, is it poss to communicate to her teacher? Umm, or mayb encourage yr dd dat some teachers r stern at 1st but may mellow after he/she has received full cooperation or attention fr more active student? One of my dd teacher was also v fierce but my dd tried to encourage herself that her fierce attitude was not directed at her. She told me T needed to b fierce as there wer. A few mischievous kids in class so prob had to b v stern.

1. Go IKEA .... They Open During CNY ....
2. Eat At Mamak Stall .... Roti Prata -la! And their Satay is Fantastic! .... Always Open 24-Hr, No Problem ....
3. Go JB - Eat at Nasi Lemak Stall in Perling.... Hmmmmmmmm .... Have Not Been there for a Few Years Now .... Hope Their Fried Drumstick / Sambal Sotong is Still Good ....
4. Go JB - Eat Soup Tulang .... U Know, the Kind that Your Suck Out Using A Straw .... And their Nasi Lemak is Cheap & Good Too ....
5. KFC .... Can Order Home Delivery .... Think Got Offer Some More ....
6. MacDonald .... My Kids Can't Live w/o IT ....
7. Still MacDonald ....
8. SOME More MacDonald .... (Yaks .... That From ME ....)
