        Hi Mummies,

The Pri 1 teacher said that info on assessment methodology, weightage % etc flashed at Teacher-Parent Meeting can be downloaded from sch webpage, but they can't be found. Any experienced Mummies here who know which part of sch web the info reside at?
Its on the first page of the Primary section where they say \"January 2011 Meet the Parents Session'. If you can't find it, click

Thanks Kiasu Parents.com Mummies for directing me to the link. You guys have been great help!

My original saved web address of sch was not updated, hence I couldn’t see the lower portion of the webpage which brings me to the "P1 Meet Parents" link. I searched high and low under "Circular - 2011" but could not find it.

          Thanks a heap!

anyone stays in serangoon ctl or bartley area?

how is the sch bus driver?
my frd who stay serangn nth says the driver drops her girl when going home time, at opp side of the rd, ie not the same side as her flat.
there was once the bus came early and let the girl alight. the maid hasnt reached there to fetch the girl home (st nic dont turn in to the actual blk), the girl went to cross the rd hersf!

later the girl scared being scolded and cross back the rd again!
              so dangerous!

                hi smurf,

CHIJ St Nicholas primary is a very good primary school.
                it’s a SAP school.

if I stay in AMK, I may offer parent volunteer work and try.
but since I stay East, not ex-alumni there, not Catholic, no baptism certificate to produce for my child certified by a priest, very difficult.

even if shift to AMK, still got to ballot. Very risky !
Understand CHIJ St Nic offers PV, but it's very difficult to be chosen. Priority is given to Catholics and old girls.

but i thot catholics already under 2b, and old girls under 2A, no need PV, unless u mean they accept very few PVs?

by the way is anyone’s child in Art Club? i mean the cca in st nic primary. what do they do? interesting or not? i suppose not taxing since just once a week right?

one thing is the late dismissal for stnics. 1.45pm for mon, wed, fri.

if stay far, the child gets to eat lunch very very late, unless eat in the bus. one canteen stall told me she used to pack lunch for a girl who reaches home at 4pm cos stay very far, the girl will just go and collect the food to eat in the bus, the mummy will pay the canteen stall owner mthly…its a pte arrangement between them…

If stay far, then should not be going to that school. Poor kid.

1:45pm is quite late. The school should consider allocating some time for them to eat lunch ... then continue lessons.
