Blissfulmum, the P3-P5 pupils had their calligraphy competition last Wednesday. Did your sons enjoy it?
Anyone in P2 chosen to take part ? Not mine but will be interested to find out what they do. -
I wonder what they will be doing on Wednesday :? I had imagine they want to do something fun but yet they make the kids w/o traditional costumes wear school uniform.
Are any of your kids bring mandarin oranges to 'bai nian'? -
preggie:
yeap! she's still very individualistic. Sometimes, i even wonder if she has got any friends in school
Did you find out with the FT regarding your DD? Does she being a long ranger since P1 days?titank:
My dd is rather anti social. She does not mix with her friends after school hours.

No. This competition is only for P3-P5. It was meant to suss out the good ones to participate in the national competition.
All P2s have calligraphy lessons on alternate weeks. However, the school doesn't offer calligraphy as a CCA, so if your kid is interested in learning more about calligraphy, you may have to look for classes outside the school. -

My kids brought the mandarin oranges to school a few weeks ago. You mean yours haven't? -

Titank, I know you were directing your question at preggie, but since my boy is also a lone ranger, I will answer from my point of view.
No, I don't find anything wrong with my boy being a lone ranger at this age. He is an introvert. Hence, I don't bother to check with my boy's form teacher.
Do you find this as a problem? :scratchhead: -

What is the purpose of submitting one empty red packet? Are you hoping that someone would put some money inside? :siam:
If I remember correctly, the students will bring the mandarin oranges to a place in the neighbourhood one of the days to \"bai nian\". -
