Hi Raisintan
Sorry for my late reply. If you search the iTunes store in the Education category, there are quite a few Chinese ebooks and Apps. They aren’t as good as English kids apps and you need to be careful that the are not Taiwanese. Alternatively I search using the words "er tong" (Chinese characters) and the search would bring up some ads. Bit primative I know… When I first got the iPad, there were hardly any Chinese kids apps, but now there are more. -
Hi Praline,
Thank u. Any good ones/ favourite apps of ur kids to share? -
I didn’t know that when you register sibling for berries class, you can actually get $20 discount in registration fee!

Yah I must say it's very impt that the chinese teacher comes with teaching qualifications. Otherwise it's just like picking any random person off the street and letting them 'teach' just because they speak the language.I do know that some centers will just engage any china Pr or personnels to teach even though they may not be in teaching line at all. You need to be careful when choosing a China teacher cops of their accent(some provinces we have hard time understanding.), some new do not understand our learning culture here. My ds last yr in school have this relief china teacher for about 5months. It was a bad,bad experience but no choice just have to bear with it.
I had sent my ds to nearby RC under Yu Quan for lesson, the china teacher is kind of \"too young\" and also i don't see my ds benefit from it therefore after a year we stopped.
At least when I met my dd's preschool chinese teacher and discussed teaching methods with her, I got a strong sense that she had good pedagogy background. comforting. -

Thanks!
My gal is 3.5yr old and is already attending Nursery daily but I like her to go to a enrichment mandarin lesson once a week to build up her mandarin. Good thing she is pretty keen in mandarin but speaks very little due to lack off vocabs.
I am considering between Molin and Tien Hsia. Which one would be more suitable for this age.
I have gone to their website and they both have programme for this age. Anyone out there tried these center? Thanks for sharing.
