Hi, can anyone share how is the school curriculum in Unity Primary?

I'm an old girl from Nan Hua Primary... my girl will be able to get in via Phase 2A but it is such a long journey from CCK Crescent whereas Unity is just across the road for me....but I'll need to ballot for a place here.

Haizz...Don't know if I should just go straight for Nan Hua or try for Unity?
If me, I will choose Nan Hua. I have two girls study in unity, one is P6 and another is P2(this year). For this year PSLE, unity has 19 student scored 250 above, and Nanhua is more than 20%, of course Nanhua has GEP students.
Unity is a good school, My girls are happy there.

My niece and nephew are in Unity and one of them is in P6 this year. His PSLE scores is not very ideal. In addition, the impression I get is the CCA offering is very limited. So I think Nan Hua is definitely a better choice.

My DD is doing quite well at PSLE. Her teachers are very responsible. As I said Unity is a good school but may not the same level as Nanhua.

              Hi,

Does anyone has any recommendation for student care/BASC services for those children studying at Unity Primary? My child will be in P1 next year and I am looking for a credible student care. Any good nanny around the school to recommend?

              Thanks. 😄

                Hi,

Do you know if Unity Primary has other CCA besides those listed on their website? Eg. competitive swimming/taekwondo/tennis and etc?

                Thanks. 😄

they have very limited CCA, and some of the activities like ballet is not consider as CCA from this year. so my DD has to choose another CCA, but really dont have much choice.

yes, p3 has the swimming lesson, but that is not cca, just 7 lessons.

I just received CCA option form yesterday, they have more cca this year, total 14 ccas.
For competitive sports, they have soccer, netball, basketball, they also have badminton and floorball. they don’t have much dancing, only Chinese and malay dancing

My daughter is eligible for P-1 for 2011 and the admissions start from July 27th.

I am <1KM for Unity, De La Salle, Yew Tee & Kranji.I fall under 2C category. I heard Dela Salle is good scool, but it starts from 7:30 am and one year need to go to Tech Wye. I hope Unty is the second best as it is close to my Flat. I dont prefer Yew Tee Primary as there is no HINDI option.
Hope I have to go for ballotting for DLS & Unity. Appreciate if any good suggestions you have.
