        Hi mummies,

I walked into Popular last night...had some time after going to NTUC...so assessment book queen couldn't resist. Saw the new Math assessment book 'visible thinking in math'...avail in A and B. Fell in love  with it...now waiting for June 20% voucher to get it. Hopefully can get P6 by then...avail up to P4 now.
Written by Ammiel Wan and popular as it is by Marshall cavendish.
Hi Janet, i have also bought a copy for my gal who is in P3 this year. By chance on the 2nd week of school, my gal brought back a few sheets of Maths worksheet and said it was a \"impromptu\" test! I flip thru and search for \"clues\". Fair enough, saw the small print at the bottom of the page and quickly do a search in the net. The publisher told me that a brand new series published 2011 and only Big Bookshop has it.

I allow my gal to practice and her comments are that the questions are more challenging! But I don't push her to attempt all questions and only at her own speed.

This is my own sharing - hopes I am not posting in the \"wrong\" forum 😉

            Hi Janet,
I guess because it was a new published book that why at that time when I enquired with Marshall - it only available at Big Bookshop. Guess by now Popular should have got the books too.....

For my case, usually I will call the publisher and check with them the stock availiability. But usually most of the time I can get the books from Popular - as most parents fo

So the title is 'Visible thinking in Maths' by Ammiel Wan ?
I don't go to Big Bookshop...rather inconvenient...I frequent IMM more often though.

Big Bookshop is at Clementi Ave 3. I think there is a polyclinic there.

Not the same…Clementi Bookstore along the block with many coffee shops & Q & M dental…popular with tertiary students

Big Bookshop is like Popular, it’s at at the same building as NTUC, Polyclinic & Yamaha. Level 2 i think.
