Seems like guavas don't celebrate CNY! Went walking around Serangoon Central just now, but the guavas have all gone into hiding! Those at the NTUC are ugly! -

Very simple. Slice guava into thin slices. Cut preserved orange peel into thin stripes. Marinate one day in advance. Enjoy! :celebrate: -

No particular brands, as long as it's preserved orange peel, but I know that there is one that is commonly found in those tidbits shop, the wrapper is black in colour and it is usually sold in packs of 3 or 4 for a dollar or something like that. -
