AS Far as i know, St hilda kindergarten, Bedestha katong , ascention ( hope spelling is scooect) they offer good academic. U can try . most of the cc, i think they actually offer learn thru play. Imagine… From 9am to 11.30am (2.5 hrs) then followed by lunch & shower& nap. continue work load till they go back home another 3 hours? so total ard 5 hours of writting . OH Gosh. some kids might not be able to take it. It seems like no diff from a sparkletots or those NTUC cc. Thats why i think Pats, Brighton & others offer something different from the PAP & NTUC.

May I know your feedback on the enrichment provided at Dynamic World Montessori? I understand if choose the 6-hr program, got music and dance. And they do it everyday after 12:30? Won’t it be too much for the kids?

Vsited:
1) Pat's School House @ Meyer
2) Learning Vision @ Changi Business Park
3) Kinderland @ Serangoon & Marine Parade
4) Star Learners @ Simei
5) The Little Skoolhouse @ Tampines Junction & Fidello


To be honest; I feel more confident with Pat's Schoolhouse, but after adding the school fees and school bus, it's a sad thing that I have to opt for alternative..
All others above did not give me any confident in them to deliver their mentioned curriculum.

Looking through reviews here for more ideas, but read about Schoolhouse By The Bay at the following gives me doubts:

My daughter is attending Mindchamps @ Katong since she was 17 months. Teachers have to undergo pretty strict training, and so far, my interactions with them is good. Very professional and knows what they are doing. They have a very structured program even for their Playgroup but i personally thinks its too aggressive and can stress both the child and the teacher out.

As such, my daughter changed 3 teachers in 6 months, and she herself does not seem to like going to school at all. But i think it's more an adjustment issue of hers, rather than the fault of the school.
