Would like to ask about the chinese spelling words that was given to the teacher? According to the list it should be only b p m f d t n l but when I received the spelling book from my son today, it was totally a different words. It’s really puzzled me when I got it and he just got a just pass grade. Can anyone enlighten me or maybe I should consult the teacher.

If i understand the spelling test correctly, my son told me the teacher gave them a picture list which show some characters. Example if there is a Buddha, they are supposed to complete it with f to the o given on the list. If the picture showing a child reading, it's 读，the child supposed to complete it wz d to the u given. Btw, my son's class has a long list of such picture words given to them to revise for the Monday MT Quiz. So while revising the list, he also understand it clearer.

Still if you have doubts, always good to talk to the MT Teacher and understand from her.

Hi Porky30, I wrote to form teacher asking about AnL. She said if assignment is given, she will inform the students. Have you tried the Chinese margezin website? We could not log on the site and my DS could not tell us clearly what he is supposed to do with it :-p.

Ya, same here. Went into the chinese magazine website but was not give any id and passwords. So couldnt log in. Was quite confuse about it. BTW, what is AnL?

Happy CNY to you. AnL is the Ask and Learn website. Astee mentioned that it is like Facebook for the school. Think I need to explore more with my boy. As for the Chinese website, I tried to use my boy’s Birth cert #to log in but it does not work. Asked my boy and he also no clue :-(. Just now talked to the MT teacher. He said will find out and let me know. Will update when I hear from him.

To login into ezhishi.net is your son’s IC no and the password is the same. Just remember to key in the Cap letter of front and back of the ic no.

Yesterday we managed to log into the Chinese learning site with my son’s BC. He had fun playing the pingyi game. Never saw him having such interest in pingyi before. If you have not go into the site, do try it.

Hi Astee, welcome. Which class is your DS in? My DS is in 1 Care. He is super blur the first day. Asked him if his Mother Touge teacher is a man or lady, he said don't know :-(. Got me worry for a while. Hope he adapted to the new environment soon.
