2-3 days is not bad.. later it become quite hard 😞

Yup that's right. I guess at most 2-3 days (in the fridge). If you want to keep it longer, then you can freeze it and warm the bread as and when you feel like eating. If frozen, then I'm sure it can last more around 1 week or more... πŸ˜‰

ooooooooooooo then time for new breadmachine
LKVM, but Maid's baking function is still working la, so I'm sure she will not want to change her breadmaker until it totally \"kaputs\"... πŸ˜‰

No, it's not time for a new machine yet, unless there is another brand new B hiding in someone's storeroom like in your case! πŸ˜‰

Current one cannot bake, but I can still knead and proof, at most use the oven to bake. Not really a big issue for me. πŸ˜‰

Oops, no, it's my baking function that is not working though I am still able to knead and to proof with the machine, so no, no intention of getting a new one for the time being. πŸ˜‰

Think DH will petition for divorce if I suggest that I need a mixer that'll cost $1000 :faint: Though I know some cost ard $500 to 700.

                  :rotflmao:

he'll tell u not to put it on the floor and must wash the Kitchen Aid with some soft soap suds (macham fabric care, so the detergent has some new fangled softener and will not damage the equipment). Must treat your KA the same way u have to treat ur branded bag - cannot put it on floor or something right? πŸ˜‰

                  Uncanny lah you ....

Thats exactly how he'll respond ...

Then his standard spiel is ...\"thats why things last so long with me\"

I have to hand it to him. The wallet I gave him more than 15 years ago still looks as pristine as ever :!: :!:

I think 2 days at most. But put in fridge probably can last a couple of days.

Anyway, I think for most of us, loaf size small, and hungry children many, so shouldn't be around for more than couple of dayzz.... πŸ˜‰
I've kept mine in the chiller for 3 days and there's some from last week still in the freezer ...
