Hi yoshitoshi,
Is your daughter ok ? Any pain or discomfort ? Hope she is ok. -
Hi Janet_lee88 & R3Mom,
Many thanks for your concern. She’s ok now. Did not even tell me that she got hit by a tennis racket!!!
R3Mom,
Hmmm…beats me y she did not received the note?? kept asking her whether got newsletter or not. Even check her file for newsletter…don’t have leh?? I got to know the timing from Janet_lee88’s posting! Went to the school’s website but nothing there too. Can advise me whether are they supposed to go to school in uniform or traditional clothes? Thanks in advance! -

Glad to know your daughter is ok...scary to be hit by a tennis racket. My son was hit by a basketball by a P6 student then.Hi Janet_lee88 & R3Mom,

No mention of wearing traditional clothes...so that means prob wearing school uniform. Let's see if principal has any other memo today...have been receiving quite a bit of memos from school since Day 1.

My daughter asked me how long is CNY ? I told her it's 15 days and she asked me, 'So I don't have to go to school for 15 days ?' -
Hi all mummies,
I am considering putting my girl in IJTP. I couldn’t find the school hours on the website.
I thought it was a partial single session school but I saw on the thread that it is a single session school now? A bit confused.
What time are the girls expected to be in school and what time is dismissal? Also, is the traffic around the school very bad during morning?
Tks for your help. -

It has gone single session this year :celebrate:Hi all mummies,

Mon - Wed: Dismiss at 130pm
Thur - Fri: Dismiss at 1pm
Morning and afternoon traffic is quite disastrous, but it's norm for every school. -
We drop our daughter off around 6.50am. The traffic at that time is quite managable. The school allows parents’ cars to drive in after 7am to drop off the girls, otherwise, just drop the girls outside with an uncle opening the car doors for the girls & even help to shelter the girls with an umberlla on raining days & they walk in.

My hubby drops daughter inside the school...one thing is to have remember what time parents can drive in. -
Hi Janet and other mummies,
I've been following the IJ TP thread with interest and I was hoping some of you can share some of your views on the school
How is your daughter enjoying school so far? Do they have other things in their curriculum like dance, IT, various sports incorporated in it or only offer these as CCA?
How abt the teachers? are they good, caring? My criteria for my girls are that they go to a school with caring teachers which also has a balanced curriculum; i'm not too fussed abt the academic finesse of the school per se, but how well they teach the other aspects with emphasis on a balance of work and play.
I am actually IJ KEllock alumni and I have heard good things abt Kellock, problem is that it's really far for us and TP is better, proximity wise.
Would really appreciate hearing your views on the school
Thank you
