I think the reason why they ask to add later is so it kneads properly then later add but with adding before means there could be problem kneading if the pieces are too big :!:

but she chopped them, so hopefully apricots are smaller and will not cause any problem... :xedfingers:

Ya, that was what I was wondering too! :? It'll probably taste like a steamed cake/bread? That's why I am asking for volunteers to test out the recipe! :lol:
