      Chipmunks:
qms, I'd made a mistake, kept thinking these 3 schools have 210 places this year. Forgot that they had 270 vacancies last year. .... Maybe I was hoping that the schools could hop on the single session next year... šŸ˜›

Oh No! 240 places are not enough already, let alone 210! Please don't even suggest! šŸ™ šŸ˜‰
      titank:
Blangah Rise also reduce to 200.
It should be 210 for Blangah Rise. In fact, this school has the most drastic reduction in number of places available.

From the MOE website, here are the vacancies as follow:

          Blangah Rise Primary = 210
          CHIJ (Kellock) = 200
Gan Eng Seng Primary School =240
          Radin Mas Primary School =240
          Zhangde Primary School =240

From what I know some schools already had the phase 1 intake being computed which here are the estimate vacancies when at end of Phase 1.

Radin Mas = 50% taken up, 120 Places (4 classes)
Zhang De = 37.5% taken up, 150 places (5 classes)
Gan Eng Seng = 31% taken up, 165 places (5.5 classes)

The BASC is not free but as your child study in Gan Eng Seng you are able to enroll. It is not open to outsiders.

my scenario is like this :

my son is gg to P1 in 2010 and im using my mom I/C to register him.
she stays at tanglin halt road which is just behind NEW TOWN PRI , because both me and my husband are staying at Woodlands address.
my son is in Queenstown sparkletots childcare since Nursery.

which school will have a better chance from my preferred choice below :

1 - GAN ENG SENG PRI
                        2 - NEW TOWN PRI
                        3 - QUEENSTOWN PRI
