  I am not so creative!  That's not my original idea! The idea came from a bread making book that I borrowed from the library when I first started baking breads! πŸ˜„

                25hourmaid:
... First of all, peel the Mandarins and then remove the membrane from EACH individual slice. A very tediuos procedure. Then puree the pulp to a paste. Strain the pulp, but leave a bit of juice in it. ...

 I grumble even when I have to do that to the slices of each orange I eat... can't imagine doing it to a dozen oranges. Can't they genetically grow mandarin oranges with no \"membranes\"? Sheesh.

Anyway... sidetrack again... does anyone know how those \"kua chee\" or sunflower seeds get peeled and come in large packets of de-shelled seeds? I just can't imagine how machines can be designed to do that without getting all the seeds smashed. Or maybe there are just rows and rows of aunties sitting around tables manually \"peeling\" them away with their teeth like what I see them do during CNY. πŸ˜›

Yeah, I think it must be some part-time jobs for the Aunties and Uncles too! πŸ˜‰ No way would a machine be able to do that!
