      Hi Mrmrskoh,

No prob...I mentioned daughter's class here too...so that I can get to know more mummies in case my blur sotong daughter comes back with info which needs clarification.

oh great! my daughters are in P2 Rose and P3 Ixora...anyone? :xedfingers:

Hi My gal is in P2 Orchid and P3 Orchid!!

My gals did not take up ballet in sch..but the they stay back in sch 2-3 times per week up till 4pm for Enrichments/remedials/S&D.

I would say quite tiring for them as they wake up 530am in the morning to get ready for sch. This yr I find that they hv incorporated PAL (2hrs!!) into the P2 timetable..I dunno what is the purpose of this programme. I asked my gal and she just said they had quizzes and games with their form mistresses..hmmm...

My gals does complain that sometimes they cannot buy food in the canteen cos of long queue or not enough time (held up in class), so I always put some light snacks in their bags as backup.

But for lunch at 130pm - I always urge them to get something in the canteen, even a packet of milo is ok. I told them if they are still hungry during remedial/enrichment classes - they shd seek permission from their teachers to eat. My older gal did it once..she missed her recess as she had to see the sch dentist..then during gym lessons, she felt hungry and the teacher allowed her to go the canteen to eat.

        Hi Mummies,

Any ideas what the P1 briefing EL, CL & Maths is about? Is it necessary to attend? Need your advise urgently. (It says not compulsory.) Thanks.
Not compulsory but parents are encouraged to attend.
Hubby will be attending as I have to look after the kids, since briefing is for parents only.

i heard something about … no more affliation from CHIJ primary TPY into CHIJ TYP secondary, because many students take for granted that they can just walk easily across to next door Secondary IJ TPY ?

is it implemented this year 2011, or next yr 2012 ?

There will still be affiliation but I think they will gradually raise up the COP.

My son in P5 has supp classes this year and time is so tight...if P2s have compulsory lessons as well, that would be even worse. Don't know if my daughter will be able to handle that.

My daughter told me she will be having her jab (P1) next Tue.
Yesterday, the P5s gals had theirs.
