Don't Your time will come! We all started off with nothing in our kitties when we first joined KSP too. 
I remember being envious of those big fat kitties of some members here too when I first joined, but now, one year later, I have more than 23K in my kitty, so it is not impossible to accumulate KPs. Don't loose heart, just continue to do what you are good at, LLLS! :evil:

i remembered i was watching the on-going auction, but dunno how to play, where to start

Yes getting from auctions is very easy and also u have been around for quite some time so must have seen many auctions
i had seen only one or twice of the auction at the beginning when i joined.
but keep thinking, aiya, me no kps to play (at that time i had only 100kps),
so for the subsequent auctions, i din watch and din bother to read the rules.....
till i have accumulated some kps then it strikes my mind again. -
