Maybe your kid does the work in school? Not sure. As I said, I've not seen the Ch story summary like some of the other parents. So there are some differences across classes.
My son will just write a sentence from the book, like the character screamed or something. -

The teachers usually use it to continue with the normal Chinese lessons. Once in a while, the teacher may bring them to the computer lab to do some online exercises. -

Like to check whether any of your kids are assigned locker in school? Just now when I sent him to school, he asked me to go to the book shop to get a lock for him. I asked him whether he has a locker, he said no.

Having a locker doesn’t help. My DS still brings back everything !
Grammer book, art materials etc. yday was the worst, art materials include poster colours, art block (is that what u call it?) apron. Even bring back those newspapers used to line the table. faint ! -

My girl also asked me to get a lock but after some questioning, she said it was because a friend of hers had this number lock so she wanted to have one too... So mayb you ask you son why he needs the lock.... -
