[/quote]I believe it is open to all primary schools in Singapore but it is up to the schools to send in their representatives. Each school is allowed to send in more than 1 team. The carnival is like a mini amazing race in which teams have to clear several check points. At each check point, the team is given a mathematical problem to solve and they need to solve it before proceeding to the next check point where they will be given another problem to solve and so on. I think NUSH designed this format to allow kids to explore the campus. Subtle marketing

I just check the AMC 8 Perfect scores name list, a few are from NUSH.jtoh:

AMC 8 is for Pri 5
So NUSH do send their students for AMC 8 as well. -

It's for Grade 6,7,8 so under 14 I expect. I would expect that AMC8 would be really simple for NUSH students.
