Hi
I know about this program cos my elder son (P5) is under this HAP. I was wondering is it because Rulang already has good programmes for their students that's why it's not necessary? Last year, my son & a few others go to WestGrove to attend ~14 sessions of maths, attended 1-2 workshop (Maths & Science). This year, additional 'Innovation Programme' where they have to present & exhibit at Sg Poly end of year. Seems like Rulang do have similar stuff already.
My girl's ex-classmate (2) were selected so I was curious to know if it's cos she has transferred to Rulang or simply didn't do well enough ;). -

if the school has enough number of HAL kids and enough resources to run the program, it does not need to combine with other schoolsHi

Saw from starlight's previous post that selection starts at P3...
Heard nothing from my ds.
But I told him usually these are for those very tall and mightly built students.... -

During dd's time, the form teacher would submit a list of pupils at the end of p3, so that training etc could be conducted in the Dec hols.angelz88:

I think the Prefects' Investiture will be coming soon.
Prefects start their \"job\" from p4 onwards. -

Hi,
Just received a letter on the above. Seems like about 100 children are selected for this. Just curious if any of you know much about this? Will all the 100 kids be involved or they will train 100 and just select a portion of the good ones? As my gal is not really the sporty or agile type, if not all are involved, I might want to opt out as currently she has tuition on Sat morning, would have to change if she is to continue.
Did the school participate previously? How much commitment is required? Did you opt out? If yes, why? What’s your view on this? -
