Nope, I don't have that. For English reference, I have the 'Basic English Essential' recommended by school. It's for lower primary. Other than that, I like the Teachers' Production Grammar for lower primary...not bad to fall back on fm P1-3. The Teachers' Production is comprehensive, including vocab like 'Adults and their young', 'Sounds made by objects', 'Animal sounds and motions'. Oops, posted in wrong thread. This is for P1/2 Maths.

My DD is currently using Casco Primary English P2 book in school as a supplementary text. Agree it's a good book. Instructions are clear & simple. Last year, luckily DD looked through the similes for fun. Her P1 SA2 paper tested her on as cool as a _______. :imcool:

Yes, still I am keeping the p1 book as well. the instuctions comes with a picture as well. conquer titles are to practice and drill the target area. my dd still reffer the p1 book for verb forms 😉

Hi, these books are reccomended by Tianzhu page 40 in this thread

The Essential Parents’ Guide to Primary Maths by Dr Fong Ho Keong
Top marks by Dr Fong Ho Keong.
Maths Model Diagrams from Maths456 by Tan BM

You may also look at some of these newer books in Popular to see if they meet your needs.

The Singapore Model Method for Learning Mathematics by EPB Panpac Education.
Bar Modeling A Problem-solving Tool from Marshall Cavendish.

You may also attend the Maths workshop for parents conducted by your child's school.

Some schools start to introduce MD at P1.

Study helpers are going off the shelves. so only few tiles per each level is available. I saw P2,3,4,5 english home work, maths challenging problems. english thinking skills one book for p5.

I bought word study 2 workbook from Learners. Because my daughter sometimes get bored when I give the conquer titles again and again. so I buy some easy ones to give her a stress free time...

                      Hi,
I went IMM Popular yesterday hoping to get the Visible thinking Book 3B but alas the sales told me that the book has not arrived and most probably will be in May/June period 😞 ... Yes, agreed that the books were all neatly re-arrange and personally I prefer to shop there as compares with Jurong Point (Although it was 10 mins walk from home) 😉 . Also, there wasn't much crowd yesterday so I was able to stand there and browse thru the assessment books. Was comparing the Chinese ones when one gentleman came out and asked,\"May I know what you are checking? Isn't getting this book that comes with the DVD a better deal?\" I explained to him that I was going thru each assessment book's content and how the syllabus is being structured, the questions are being set. He replied:\"WOW! That means you are very free & you are very detailed!\"

Frankly speaking, I was on leave and was hunting for some more Ass books to prepare for my gal's CA1 and also don't want to get too many \"extra assessment books\" ...So am able to spend 2 hours there to get the \"ideal\" copy that I needed...Heeee...

Sorry, maybe I am in the wrong forum and write too much :clubmyself:....

                        Hi Champion,
Which book comes with a DVD ?
It's too late to get an assessment for CA1...with just 2 weeks more. Son's homework is crazy. I'm looking for an Eng assessment book which has everything that will be tested - Grammar, Vocab, Grammar cloze, vocab cloze, comprehension cloze, synthesis, editing, comprehension MCQ and OE. Any recommendations ? Sorry, wrong thread, should have posted this in P5. 😛
