It is a cooking/baking forum that I joined many years ago, but no point introducing you to it now because a lot of us left the forum en-masse due to some unhappiness there and it's as good as a ghost town there now, so no point introducing you to it. because i don't know how to use an oven... :oops: I don't know when to switch on the upper or lower or both and when to switch on the fan... if i switch on the top and not the bottom heater, then the top get burnt and bottom not baked. but if i on both, the i feel that the orange colour of the coil becomes switched off...

Your oven sounds complicated. Top, bottom, fan... Mine I just select the temperature, grill etc and voila! Done!

Put your loaves aside for a while and try buns for once. You will get addicted. In fact, I am more into buns than loaves.

Yup, it's a cheap oven but I don't know why it's so complicated. All I need is an oven that requires me to set temp and press bake.

On second thoughts, do you mean those buns coated with sugar on top?

Have not tried those, but I would use the same method as I would for pork floss. Spread mayo on top of the bun and then sprinkle with sugar. You would be surprised that the mayo would turn into a 'transparent' glue on hot buns. That's how I coat my pork floss buns like those sold in Bread Talk.
