          Your oven sounds complicated. Top, bottom, fan... Mine I just select the temperature, grill etc and voila! Done!

          Yup, it's a cheap oven but I don't know why it's so complicated. All I need is an oven that requires me to set temp and press bake. πŸ˜‰

            On second thoughts, do you mean those buns coated with sugar on top?

            Have not tried those, but I would use the same method as I would for pork floss. Spread mayo on top of the bun and then sprinkle with sugar. You would be surprised that the mayo would turn into a 'transparent' glue on hot buns. That's how I coat my pork floss buns like those sold in Bread Talk. πŸ˜‰

              But if I open a bakery, no one will buy from me judging by the number of breadmachines that have been sold since this thread started! 😒

                Must remember to coat it the moment the bun is out from the oven, otherwise the mayo and sugar won't stick.

                      the number of breadmachines in ksp forum is very very tiny as compared to the vast population of singapore,
                      now esp with the influx of foreigners πŸ˜‰
