          Herbie:
I think the school should also think of ways to improve the flow of traffic within the school especially at the drop off area/canteen.

Some kids take their own sweet time to alight from the car... and hence jam up the incoming traffic.

So the school should consider to designate another official drop off point.
Yes, I send my dd to school by car everyday. And every time, without fail, I will see two out of the three cars at the drop off point taking their own sweet time. The driver will come down , help the kids put on their bag , and have a hug/kiss. Some will even park their car at the drop off point and walk off to do something.

Rental is definitely high near the school. Another way is to find out where the last pickup points are for the buses and try to stay near there. I know Jurong East area is around 6.30am too.

The last time I enquired about Jurong East pickup, the driver said it is around 6am.....

Maybe they have changed this year...

I just talked to my dd's classmate parents recently on the pickup time this year. That's where I got the info.

Check with my DD, no homework again today. :?

My dd brings back homework everyday without fail.

                    Well, it could be
                    1. your dd has the speed to finish everything in school, or
                    2. there is a different on the amount of homework among the classes.
