my ma told me recently a "god" told her an elderly died b4 in the flat we r staying now (shifted in for a year) but does us no harm, just sit outside cos it knew we r the new owner.

this one is not in our house but outside. whenever i sat beside the window, baby will suddenly look straight into a direction but sometimes he would just point to outside but when i turned to look, there’s nothing

oh yes, I remembered my mother placing some offerings on the bed once a month and she told me its for chng bu (bed mother) and she protects us from harm or nightmares etc Nowasdays, dun seen people talking about it anymore :oops:

Talking about weird encounters with 'beings' and 'deities' i've got uncountable ones. Let me share with all of you..


The incident started when i'm expecting my DS. I was staying in my ex-il place with my ex. Ever since my ex-mil pass awy, my ex-gmil shifted in to the house. She piled the house with many old statues, bags and garbage (those useless things). My ex-fil pray to guan yin, goddess of mercy, and we have 1 in the living room. Unlike my mom who is a devoted buddhist, my ex-fil never pray to guan yin like during the 1st and 15th month of lunar calender he don't buy fresh fruits, flowers and not even prepare fresh tea for prayers. In short, he simply don't clear the alter table and burn joss paper. The environment of my ex-il place was old and messy with alot of unwanted things making the place very dark and as a result very 'yin'.

One night, i think pass midnight, my ex wanted to have some noodles, so i went to the kitchen to cook while my ex was in our room playing games. While i was cooking, i suddenly feel a cold chill. The feeling of someone looking at me make me turn to my left :shock: and saw a blur figure of a very tall man with flowery top standing or is he floating at the doorway of the kitchen. I was stunned. :!: In another blink he disappear. I quickly walk back to the room. As my ex is a free thinker, I did not bother to tell him what i saw. The next morning, i called my mom and told her about everything. She immediately called a master. The master told her that was my late maternal grandpa. He knows something bad is gona happen so he is here to protect me and my baby. Since then, whenever i'm out late to catch a midnight movie or so, i'll feel chills down my spine. I know its either grandpa is around or some other beings.

When DS was about to born, i was having a hard time in the labour ward. Since 8am in the morning i was admitted till 6pm the cervix dilates very slowly. My mom went back to my grandparents' place to pray to my grandfather at about 8pm and within 10minutes DS was born. Since then i can't sense grandpa anymore.

The bad encounter begins only after DS was born. DS's 1st night home was terrible. We were expecting that newborn sleeps most of the time. However, once DS reach home, he started crying non stop. All my ex-il quickly siam when this happen and didn't help out. I didn't take a wink throughout the whole night, cuddling my DS making sure he is ok. The next morning i called my mom for :?: HELP :?:. Mom immediately came over to my ex-il place to fetch me back to her place for confinement. Then only DS settled down and rest well. During the confinement i started hearing bells ringing. Whenever i hear the bell, DS will start crying for no reason. When the confinement is over we shifted back home. The bell ringing was getting stronger and stronger. Everytime i hear the bell i got a rush to throw my DS down the block and jump down myself but i tried to refrain myself. I told my mom how i felt then she brought us to the medium.. The truth was revealed.

There is a fierce woman in my ex-il house. As i am pregnant, i am consider 'yin' plus afterbirth the 'qi' havent recover, the fierce woman is sucking most of DS and my 'qi'. When i hear the bell ringing, its when she is absorbing our 'qi'. As it grew louder and stronger, our 'qi' is finishing. She is looking for a subsitute. When the medium try to see if our guan yin at home has power, we were told that she stays in the guan yin. The effect of keeping her in the house makes everyone very 'yin' and as a result very nua. As my ex-il house have many statues, she hides here and there. WHen we ask why DS cry when he look at the window. We were told that she usually lingers around our bedroom window staring in to scare DS.

To cut it short, we cleared the guan yin and try to brighten the house but it was useless. Not long later i shifted back to my parents place as my ex-gmil still likes to bring home plenty of statues. Now we no long encounter it anymore.

My husband had 2 encounters last year during the 7th month:

1. He went to visit his supplier and left around midnight and the car park was deserted as he went to collect his car. When he entered his car, he smelt something like rotten meat, very strong and seem to be in his car.
He switched on the light but didnt detect anything but the smell was gone. The moment he switched off the lights, the smell came back again. He said his prayers, opened all the windows and the radio and sped home. My son and I were already sleeping when he reached home and I only knew in the morning. :yikes:

2. On another late night when he came back, he parked his car and used the staircase to walk home. The moment he reached the staircase, he heard some loud noise like 2 cats fighting (the screeching sound) but it got louder and louder as he climbed the stairs but he didnt see any cats around and he started to get goose pimples so he decided to abandon the staircase and walked another route home. He told me the next morning and felt like the sound were quite unusual and it was like something gnaring/scratching at one another :shock:

So for this month, I switched on the lights at the entrance and the living room lights if he come home late hoping the bright lights will scare whatever away from him. :xedfingers:

this happens when i was very young, think ard 7-8 years old…


those days, i was staying with my grandparents & we lived on the 18th floor of a HDB blk.

Above my unit was a chinese family & on every night during the chinese 7th mth, we wld hear tok tok toktoktoktok… like marbles bouncing off the floor… ya know what i mean…

i asked my grandparents what sound was that but each time they wld js tell me to ignore it & go back to sleep.

When i was much older, i asked again. This time they told me. The family used to hv a young boy who loves to play marbles but he got choked on one of them & he died.

So what i heard every night during the 7th month was the little boy playing with his marbles.

But as i grow older, some adts wld say that is actually the sound of water dripping down in the water pipes…

there is such thing as water in pipe...call \"water hammer\"in plumbing terms ..
