I think small group will be good for kids to learn swimming.
Looks like i got to enrol my dd in some external swimming class if I really want her to pick up swimming. Any good recommendations from ppl staying around Clementi area?
My dd had been 'learning' swimming during her PE lessons in P1 and P2. Until now still cannot swim..Luanee:

Don't worry, kids learn swimming very fast, 1 0r 2 month's learning, they can swim quite good. -

There are many swimming classes in public swimming pools. I think they are good enough for our kids.

I know there are swimming course provided by Singapore Sports School, and they also provide bus to fetch and send kids. I once sent my DD their, the field is very big, and coaches there are very good. But it's too far from my home. It's near Woodland MRT. -

I think class E and F would also include kids who have passed the first round of gep test.

Yes, this is another big joke here :rotflmao: and I'm still wondering was it worth paying for the swimming class. :stupid:

Yeah I think E and F classes would be good enuf for me too, I dont dream about the GEP path lol..
Yeah, that's a more realistic target.
Set E and F classes as our target!ctct61t:

The E and F classes do very well at PSLE and a lot of them do end up at some of the top secondary schools.
-
My dd is in one of these classes. As the top 80 mainstream students are placed in these classes, i am using this as a yardstick as to how she is doing as she paces herself towards psle. My hope is that she remains in one of these classes at p5/6 and thereafter enters the sec school of her choice.

Hi. What is a Smartcard please? Based on the school calendar, there was supposed to be a photo taking for the Smartcard some weeks back but when I asked my dd about it, she said that there was no photo taking that day.
Thanks! -
