My dd's P2 form teacher told us her level ranking during the PTC last year, maybe u can ask ur dd's P3 teacher during the mid year PTC to give urself a gauge

      Thanks a lot.

Not sure what PTC is? can give me a hint?

PTC = 'parent teacher conference' aka 'meet the teachers session'
Thanks.

does the swimming instructor also teach butterfly stroke, besides the usual free style, breast stroke ?

does he also teach survival swimming course to rgps students?
this is very impt skill esp. if you go on a ship for holiday.
It's water sports day today, my friend's DD wear swimming cloth inside unit form to the school this monring. Not sure it's the requirement or not.

Ur friend's dd in which level? I think its only compulsory for P4s..

Oh rem to bring ur dds early home today. School dismisses at 12:30pm

              My friend's DD is P5.

I prepare and bring my DD lunch this morning as I was told she has CCA afternoon. I totally forgot this water sports event.

I have to bring back her lunch, as my DD thought about the event on the way to school.
No CCA today. My dd is coming home early today. :rahrah:

I would say don't expect too much from the school swimming lessons. Go look for outside professional swimming school if you are going for the certification.

Yeah all P1 and P2s have swimming during their PE lessons. They held it at Buona Vista swimming pool.

But as KSP said, the effectiveness is really doubtful

Are you saying they do it during class hours e.g. between 12:45pm to 6:pm ?

Yap u are right, the school buses will bring them there, its once a week.. Ur dd will need to wear or bring her costume to school.
Interesting... is it free and how long is their lesson ?

you need to go for an evaluation first...
