then you accuse the male drivers for staring

Do you mean you would stare?

No la, no la, they usually won't stare. At most, they looked very bored waiting. The impatient ones would offer to help me park

But that was last time la.
I'm an experienced driver now, although still can't parallel park πŸ˜‰

        haha...

this remind me when i started to drive again 3 years ago. I can still remembered I was so scared of parking til I could not sleep the whole night! Hubby forced and threatened me to drive and drive πŸ˜‰ I dare to drive but the whole parking thing was so scary for me!

like what some advice out here, avoid crowded places, park at lesser crowd area even though you have to walk a bit more, and when really cannot, dun be afraid to ask people to park for you (I did that! πŸ˜‰

after sometimes, you will definitely get the hang of it, like me, though I will still avoid those super challenging carparks πŸ˜‰

good luck in your driving and parking! you can do it!

Don't worry.. T3 carpark and the lot very spacious. U will plenty of time to park too. Go straight to B2, normally B1 is full of cars. πŸ˜‰

When I 1st started driving, I told myself, a car is a possession, like a bag or shoes. A little scratch or dent here and there won’t die.

As for parking, like some suggested, I tend to park at places with 2 empty space. And I avoided parallel parking even if it means having to walk further. Eventually, I picked up the courage to do parallel parking but even then, only in lots that are on the left, did not know how to manouver the car into parallel lots on the right.

These days with sensors all around the car, any kind of parking is a breeze. Haha.

Not when raining. Its so difficult to park the car during raining days. Cant see clearly with all the droplets on the window and mirror :stupid:

I agree. Always try to drive if you have the opportunity. Do not avoid parallel parking altogether because the more you avoid, the more you will never learn how to park parallel.

If you learn driving using the manual gear, you will find it a breeze to drive an auto. But believe me, a manual gear car is so much more fun to drive plus it is more savings in fuel consumption. Sometimes I borrow my colleague’s car just to drive the manual gear which I miss. My own car is auto because my husband hates to stop and change gear in a jam. He insists on an auto.

Once you have enough practise, go try to park at clifford centre or the mutli-storey carpark in Pandan Valley. If you are successful in parking there, then you won’t have any problem parking elsewhere in Singapore.
