My son went for JG 3-times a week, Eng playnest and subsequently playclub from 13months to 22mths. He likes it, and so did I. As a first-time mom, I learnt a lot on how babies to toddlers learn, react and develop, what to look out for, what are the milestones, how to control, etc through their way of teaching. As for him, he got to play in the sand-pit, playground, water-play, paints, etc activities where he did not get to do at home. Speech and language-wise: very good. Social and other milestones: the teacher will have a chat with the parent twice (i think) every term to let you know things that they’ve noticed, or if u have any concerns to raise, etc. Like, this girl wasn’t talking much and the teacher actually told her mom it is because she herself is not communicating to her in more words than just "ball", "go". So she suggested ways of communication to help in her girl’s language development from home. So, by the end of playnest (18mths), most kids could say their own names, sing some songs. This is not a requisite I believe, but something that I observed fr my son’s class.

Not sure if the teachers are still as good, that was back in 2007-08.

                  hi

My girl is now 14 months and we have been attending JG playnest since my girl was 7months. We enjoy the class very much. There are story time, sing song, dancing, outdoor play time… puppet shows etc. The teachers are very animated and lively making the lessons very intersting. My girl enjoys the lessons each time.

IMO, it really depends on which teacher is teaching the class. Some are wonderful, others are just ok.
