you mention 9 students from the 2 top E and F mainstream non-gep classes got transfered back to normal ordinary classes…

how about the other way … are there also cases where gep students from rgps also got transfered out from gep classes, and then go back to normal average classes ? how do these kids handle … emotionally ?

Dont know much about GEP girls cos mine is in mainstream but she did hear of one that was transfered out, dnt know how true though.. Perhaps Herbie whose dd is frm GEP may know.

Emotionally? some were in tears, others accepted it.....one parent felt relief that her girl went back to \"normal class.\" I believe 1 or 2 parents felt the need to see the P. 😢

My DD brouht back a form to registrate for UNSW international competitions. It seems only English is available for P3 students to choose.

My DD took UNSW competions of math and english last year. I felt the system is very good to fully assess the developing level of kids. I will let my DD to go for it again, no matter what grade she can achieve, just want to assess her level, hope can see some improvement.
Yeah I have signed up my dd for it too, since its only $9 and will be held during school hours and doesnt involved additional lessons or what. So no harm trying. My dd didnt want to do it initially but we told her just a small test lah, no need to study lol..
