I am interested to be part of PSG too. But right now juggle with work and another younger son. Hope to settle 2nd DS schooling schedule and work out time to help. May be by the second half of the year I can contribute some.

        Hi Rejoice,
Yeah, understood your situation perfectly. Same as you before my DS is in P1, i only contributed on Ad-hoc event. Now that he is in P1 and i can manage more time, so my participation as PSG was Level UP..haha.

You can still register your interest as a PSG and contribute your time as and when you are available. No pressure at all and you will get pleasure out of the PSG time... :boogie: (ps: not promoting anything here, just sharing my own experienced.)

          Hi Astee

Thanks a lot for your advice. Will think about it and see where I can contribute. I am sure it is fun. I just feel bad to sign up before I am sure I can arrange my time wisely. What did you do as PSG?

            Hi Rejoice,

Yeah, i had the same concerns too. I think we mommies share alot in common. πŸ˜„

Till date, i had volunteered for Food Donations Drive/LJ to Harbour Front/Morning Runs.

            cheers! :dancing:

                Hi Ivy,
Don't feel bad about missing it, this is an annual event, you will have chance to participart next years and onwards.. πŸ˜‰

Also since DS just started P1 and boys being boys (with alot of DON'T Know answers..) it is understandable that you may have miss the event.

Remember Arnold Schwarzenegger favorite quote in one of his movie: \"I'LL BE BACK!\" ...

                Cheers!

Today I saw my DS’ Chinese teacher wrote on DS’ workbook that says my DS talks a lot in the class. When I asked DS if his form teacher makes the same comment and he said yes. Sigh. DS is still in his kindergarten mood where he can express his view freely. He has not yet adapted to the primary classroom culture and does not realize that he is talking when he should not. I tried to control myself not to scold him. I tried to explain it as clearly as possible why he should not talk during the lessons. He seems to understand but as soon as our session is over, he forgets about it. Wonder how I should make him unsderstand or should I just let him be and one day he will learn.

                    Hi Rejoice137,

I think that's not an issue to worry about. It is part and parcel of growing up, they will learn how to behave, how to play different roles in different environment. My DS used to be making a lot of noise in class too when he was in Childcare Centre. He is always disturbing the whole class. But now, he is more aware. We need to let him understand how is it that when he is making a lot of unecessary noise, like talking and making funny noises, he is disturbing others. The Chinese Teacher also commented that my son doesn't seem to be reponsive when she's talking to him. I think they need a bit of chemistry here :hi5: I can't do anything about it. It all depends on the Teacher.

                      Hi Ivy

Thanks for the encouragement. I understand my DS does not do that out of mischief or trying to attract attention. He just does not understand he needs to be quiet. Have talked to him. Today I asked him how he did at school, he told me he did not talk during lessons. I am proud of him and am sure he will do well.
Tomorrow is the start of swimming lesson. Need to pack his swimming gear in a small bag. Hope tomorrow he will have fun at the lesson.

DS came home today with a form from the school dentist. He needs to have filling done on his tooth. Did not say which one and how many. I can imagine my DS agony face and cry when the nurse does the filling on him. He has low tolerant of pain. Hope it won't give the dentist too much trouble. πŸ™
