HOW TO OVERCOME THE FEAR OF PARKING A CAR...ADVICE NEEDED

Lolz, in fact, we were able to tell who are the Singaporean drivers in any ang mo parking lot by looking at those that are reverse parked. BTW, it is ILLEGAL to reverse park for those lots which are forward-angled which are meant to park head-in. There are also reverse-angled-parking which requires REVERSE parking and are safer for drivers leaving the parking lot.
BTW... there's a little known rule in SG about parallel parking... you are not allowed to park against the flow of traffic. Warrants a $50 fine. -

Ive got a question for all. What will you do if you happen to hit another car while parking?
If you need to leave before the car owner arrives, do the honest thing : leave your contact on the wind screen and tell that fella you have a photo of the damage (so that he will not over-claim you on repair bills)
In such a situation, the owner of the damaged car would at least appreciate an honest fella then to report a hit-and-run... -

Anyway marjority of shopping malls carpark in Singapore have relatively small lots too, especially the cornering or bends. Try turning out of Palais Renaissance with an S-class (new model cos it's broader) and you get all the sensors beeping (though their lots are relatively large).
