GEP or Mainstream or E/F. 顺其自然吧. 儿孙自有儿孙福....

Yeah thats why I am against those parents sending kids for 'GEP prepartory courses'....

Btw whats the meaning of \"儿孙自有儿孙福\" ?

Simple translation would be our offspring will have their own blessing, luck and good fortune. Another words we need not have to worry too much about them. They will do fine with whatever outcome may be.

            Thanks KSP.

Chinese is not included in P4E/F allocation exam.

It seems that my DD have not have their MT test yet.

My friend’s DD who is in P5 GEP class, is writing detective novel now. Interesting class.

                KSP:
I found these info from RGPS website regarding E, F, P Q and R classes and may be good info for some of us.

Wow thanks! I assume the top 80 means those left after the GEP selection test right? So if we assume GEP take away 30 students, as long as u are within top 120 of the cohort u will be in class E and F ?

                  Yes, that's right.

I think this is right for P3 to P4E/F. For P4E/F to P5E/F they have to be top 80 again but this time they have to compete with the new say 30 students (xfer to RGPS P4 mainstream from other schools to fill up those xfer to GEP). Maybe this is to give everyone a fair chance to be the top 80.

There should be no more streaming for P5E/F to P6E/F. That means all students from P5E/F will go to P6E/F.
