Hi. Can anyone share if the violin CCA teacher is good? Gal is currently under private sessions but thinking of switching to CCA. Appreciate any feedback. My gal is P1 and violin also beginner level. Thanks!

Hi, ds did not join but i heard from other parents that class size is big and hence difficult to give indiv attn. Her child did not benefit much from it. drop out rate is also quite high as interest is not sustained.

Just received a notification on the swimming carnival on 11 Mar 2011.

Don't quite understand the circular, does that mean for P1 do not need to go to school (no class) as well as for the swimming carnival?

So for P1 students, school holiday officially starts on 11 Mar 2011?

I thought swimming carnival usually involves all students?
          :?

Thanks for the feedback. Anyone has any violin teacher to recommend for private classes then? I'm located next to school. Did ask under Violin threads but no one seem to respond so hopefully and TNS parents with private violin classes can pm me their teachers contact if they are good with kids. Thanks!

                  Dear fellow TNS parents

This week, MOE has announced another 40 schools that will undergo upgrading from end 2012 to prepare them for single session.

I saw the list and Tao Nan is again not on the list. :? Other schools like Ngee Ann, Temasek which have newer facilities are already earmarked for upgrading but how come TNS is not there ?

Any body has any idea when the upgrading will take place ?

                  Thanks !

My child has been under the same violin teacher since he was 3. He took his first violin exams last yr (Grade 4) when he was in p1. so far no complaints abt this teacher. PM me if you need contact.
