Is that so? I've not heard of schools that don't have WL. RI & HCI & NJC all have WL.

RGS, NYGH do not have waitlists.

Gender-specific now, huh? πŸ˜‰[/quote]I wonder why too. πŸ™‚

You might notice that most schools with affiliated pri schools would not give COs to their own pri applicants UNLESS too irresistable. hahaa. Esp if the applicant looks like he/she would have no problem entering using the affiliated COP - based on their past pri sch performance. They'd rather give their precious DSA places to students from other schools.

                    Hi FunX3,
Yes, DS was impressed by the facilities and like the environment after attending the Open house. He sort of decided his choice then. :celebrate:

Actually we had same feeling, as I heard DSA is very stressful process. The children, who went though DSA and been rejected, will lose their confidence. Normally the children who accepted by DSA also get good results in PSLE and join their dream school.

                        Hi superann,
Initially DW and I were quite concern with the 'what if' and how it will affect DS's confidence. I decided to 'moderate' his expectation beforehand, telling him as non-GEPer, there is stiffer competition due to the limited allocation. Even if he did not make it, it is still a good experience.

When the time come for the 'bad news', though disappointed he react quite positively and understand he could still make it thru PSLE channel.
