-
Hi happiest, superann and Brenda10,
Thanks for all your advice . I will try it out the method and see how it works. Iβve been telling myself too, donβt give up , have to keep working with her β¦ -
To register for PSLE, dd came home with a registration slip which has her statutory name, name in chinese characters, nric and hanyu pinyin name.
We dont have hanyu pinyin name in her bc and this registration slip has it.
Does this matter? -

Yes, i also wonder :? but my ds said the whole class was told to write down han yu pin yin names. So should be fine, i think most important is the bc nos, names and the subjects taking. -

Yes, I like it to will share with my ds at my fb. Thanks, hifive for yr sharing.
Hi Pen88nPen88n:
I always tell my DS that take every test as a learning opportunity. It is not only to test what you know, but also to highlight to you what you do not know. If you know most of it, good for you. :celebrate: If you have something in there that you do not know, :scratchhead: even better cos you learn in the process. Hopefully, it is not the case of you know but you have forgotten :slapshead:
I like your above quote. Will share with DS when he comes home later.

Maybe one day my DS will tell me how is it his frens or classmates' mummies are all saying the same phrase to their kids......

This is the first year I'm preparing 2 kids for CA1....what a juggling act! Thinking of heading down to the beach over the weekends. :imanisland: How are your kids going to unwind???
Apart from the Regular Excursions to MacDonald's ....

Good luck to your DS for his Maths paper. Should be no problem for him, ya... :celebrate: -
Brenda10:
Hi Brenda,Hi Tinkerbelle
We went to Time Zone and Cedele after the CA1 exam. DD wants to buy Winx Club DVD so as to watch during the weekend. BTW, the teacher said will let them know the result today.
I wish your and your family have a great fun this coming weekend. :celebrate:
Cool...you went to Time Zone with your DD. Do you play with your DD, or just watch?
Cedele is nice....love their Egyptian Mint Tea.
Have fun watching the Winxclub DVD over the weekend. If your DD likes sci fi/fantasy, maybe can go and watch \"I am Number 4\". DD watched it today & really enjoyed the movie. -
Brenda10:
Hi Brenda & Leanne,Leanne:
Hi Brenda,
Enjoy your cedele...ds all time favourite.
Am sure she will do very well for ca1.
Cheers
Leanne
Hi Leanne
Not sure as dd said the maths and Science papers were quite tough and teacher said some of them did badly. We have to see the result and focus on area that require attention.
Best Regards
DD also mentioned her Maths & science papers were tough and some students didn't even have time to finish their papers. Dunno her results yet and haven't seen the papers so I'm wondering if the papers are set harder in preparation for PSLE (wishful thinking on my part) or just my DD not keeping up :nailbite: -
Mum1113:
Hi Mum1113,Congrats to kids who complete theirs yesterday, and yes those right now....completing soon by today :celebrate:
Beach is a sane place to unwind n relax , have a great time Tinkerbelle :dancing:
For me, kids wanna meet up their favourite cousins to unwind together over the weekend , and this mummy can :politebleah: blah blah non stop with my sisters gang lah
Thanks....will have fun at the beach and think of you as I sip my Pina Colada...keke...You have fun catching up with your sisters, nieces & nephews. Your kids are lucky to have cousins about the same age to play with. DDs' cousins are overseas so they only get to see one another 1-2 times a year.
