25hourmaid:
Thanks for the tips.Happy Mama:
Really? Can win points through participation? Yeah!! :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:
Yes, that's how most of us earn out points too.
Eg, the final winning bid for an item was 30,000KPs (just an eg). Let's say there were 10 of us who participated in the auction that day. So 30,000 divide by 10 = 3000 KPs for each one who participated in the auction. It's just an eg.
Of course, the amount you get depends on the final winning bid and the number of people who participated in that auction. I have received figures from 100+ to 500+ to even 1K+ of KPs after each auction.
That's how we build up our KPs. Another way to earn KPs is to write articles for our blogs.
Just one question... can I bid for an amount larger than what I have in my kitty? e.g. if I have 5,000 in my kitty, can I bid for something at 10,000? Not likely right? -
Happy Mama:
No, you can't bid for more than what you have. So to say, your max bid would be what you have in the kitty. Once you use up you max points, you just have to grab a chair, sit back and relax and watch the show, but you will still get to share the winning bids if you have participated in the auction. And that's why I said, with 3K+ points, you won't be able to win anything but can still participate and win share the winning bid. Thanks for the tips.

LKVM 'overbid' once and almost got penalised by Chief, but luckily for her, it was a genuine mistake on her part, so she didn't get penalised. -

Oh I see... Ok I will try the next round. You've got to be in it, to understand how it works, I guess. No, you can't bid for more than what you have. Yes, precisely. You have to take part in at least one to understand how the auction works and to experience the fun of it, but remember you have to register your name first when Chief lists out the items. -
:congrats: Happy Mama on ur GM3.

Of course you can, but your bid is limited to what you have in the kitty. But after particpating in one auction, you would earn some points by sharing the winning bid with others.
Another way to get 2K KPs is to quicken your way towards your 1st medal. That first medal will give you 2K points, subsequently it's 1K per 1K posts. -
Oh yes, Happy Mama, did you see todayโs Lifestyle Section? There are some cooking lessons suitable for kids.
