Hi! My friend made mango ice-cream at home recently without a machine too, and she posted the recipe and photos on her blog. Do take a look: http://thelittleteochew.blogspot.com/2009/09/homemade-ice-cream-and-i-didnt-need.html Thanks! šŸ™‚

Hey, BTW are caramel chips same as butterscotch chips? Had heard from a friend that she used them to sprinkle n the cake batter. Don't know where she got them from. I can try to find out though.

Lets wait for a while, maybe some other bakers might know.
Should be the same or almost the same if not exactly the same, since butterscotch is butter and caramelised sugar. Oh now you are making me crave for butterscotch ice-cream! šŸ˜›

Yes, very easy. Just get an ice-cream machine .... oops, don't tell me the ice-cream machines are going to fly off from the shelves next. My boys love the butterscotch ice-cream. Maybe must go and make some for them soon.

Stupid KSP server cut me off half way. :stupid: :stupid: :x :x

Most big departmental stores like Courts, Best etc. Common brand would be Philips. Bought mine from Cash Converter many years ago and it's serving me very well. It's a Phillips and a few years ago, someone gave my auntie an Italian Brand, but my auntie does not know how to use it, so gave it to me, so now I have two machines at home!

No wonder I was wondering you have you been... I thought you were busy starting a new Ice Cream machine thread. Actually that would be fun right? Especially with everybody making various flavours and posting them on the thread.
